E-Cycling Your Way to Fitness

We’re often troubled by the need to “work out” more but so much can get in the way. We witness people crowded into gymnasiums working out, and consider : I have to go to the gymnasium, pay up my gym member’s fee, then workout. It just seems like loads of effort, isn’t there something I can do that’s not going to throw away too much of my time – maybe something that’s actually practical?

Then you may consider cycling, as bicycling around is a very effective means to get fit. You can ride to the local shops or to work, so it’s very pragmatic. It’s also cost-effective – there’s no fuel involved and the maintenance are negligable. It’s also environmentally friendly. Oh, and it improves your health too!

Yet lots of individuals are put off getting a bicycle because it’s just TOO much effort. As odd as it sounds, consider that they may be aged, have a particular ailment, be elderly, or live in a hilly area that make cycling too “hardcore” for their capabilities. Also for a few people, it’s not pragmatic biking to work since they will sweat too much because of the exertions of pedaling.

This is where electric bikes come in. E-bikes give you a rest on the tricky slopes simply by twisting your hand on the grip and letting the electric motor take over – you don’t need to do any peddling then. Then when you’re ready to switch to manual, just let your legs take over. You get modest exercise and clean air without over-doing it. Electric bikes are also cheap to operate needing only a daily re-charge if you do around 30-40k a day, although most people require just two recharges per week as they are not doing this kind of mileage. If you need to carry your bike around, consider a folding frame e-bike.

Nowadays the real cost of buying an e-bike have come right down in price, so you can save yourself a considerable amount of money on fuel, bus fares, gym memberships etc. by buying and on a regular basis using an electric bike.
