The active ingredient within Corsodyl Gel is Chlorhexidine. Studies have shown that this ingredient is helpful in preventing the formation and build up of plaque on your teeth. Limiting the build up of plaque will help prevent inflammation of your gums and stop gingivitis. Corsodyl Gel is therefore a great addition to your oral hygiene regime.

To use Corsodyl gel place approximately one inch onto your tooth brush. You should then brush your teeth for at least one minute. This should be repeated twice a day as part of your daily cleansing regime. Brushing your teeth provides a mechanical cleaning action. Whilst Corsodyl Gel works to kill the bacteria, viruses, bacterial spores and fungi that can find their way into your mouth.

You should note that the ingredient, Chlorhexidine, found within Corsodyl gel is incompatible with some ingredients that are found within ordinary toothpastes. It is therefore recommended that you should, after using toothpaste, thoroughly rinse both your mouth and toothbrush with water before you use this product.

Please follow the instructions supplied with all purchases of Corsodyl gel. Avoid getting the gel in contact with the eyes and ears. If you accidentally get it in your eyes, rinse them immediately with plenty of water. This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your general practitioner, dentist or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy to this product or its ingredients.
